Amping up Underwater Environmental Monitoring

The University of Washington's Mechanical Engineering Department conducted a research project in 2017 focusing on the advancement of underwater environmental monitoring. The project aimed to create an affordable autonomous underwater vehicle capable of collecting data on marine ecosystems, including temperature, salinity, and pH levels. This development would provide valuable insights for environmental research and conservation initiatives.
